For #WerewolfWednesday, I’ve found a number of businesses that have taken their names from the night-loving lycanthrope. On the list is a pub in San Diego, a theater troupe in Chicago and a night club in London.
Werewolf: An American Pub in San Diego
As they say: Why “Werewolf”? Not really sure… Maybe cause werewolves are awesome and we want to be awesome too. Maybe cause ownership is hairier than the average person. Maybe cause werewolves generally like to be even keel during the day and rage at night; we like that too.
This Chicago-based experimental theater collective deserves some love due to their homage to the werewolf.
The Werewolf Club
This club in London claims to be a “fusion of performance art and clubbing.”
Located in Portland, Ore., this hotel boasts a “werewolf room.”
More of an honorable mention, due to the name’s use in the classic film, An American Werewolf in London. There’s a location in New York City.
