As an author, I’m always on the lookout for folklore and legendary tales. I think the stories that have fueled our fears for eons continue to resonate because they speak to base fears, such as betrayal, the unknown, the dark. We know the real monsters are inside of us. These tales expose our greatest fear: that sometimes those monsters sneak out.
